Euro 2024 Draw Scotland To Face Spain And Norway

EURO 2024 Draw: Scotland to Face Spain and Norway

Scotland have been drawn in Group B of EURO 2024 alongside Spain, Norway and the Republic of Ireland.

It is the second time that Scotland have qualified for back-to-back European Championships, having also reached the finals in 2020.

The draw was held in Frankfurt on Sunday, October 9, and saw the 24 qualified nations placed into six groups of four teams.

The top two teams from each group will progress to the knockout stages, along with the four best third-placed teams.

Scotland will begin their campaign against the Republic of Ireland in Glasgow on June 14, before facing Norway in Oslo on June 17 and Spain in Seville on June 20.

The knockout stages will begin on June 26, with the final taking place in Munich on July 14.

Scotland will be hoping to improve on their performance at EURO 2020, where they reached the last 16 before being eliminated by Croatia.

They will be confident of qualifying from Group B, but will need to be at their best to overcome the challenge of Spain, who are one of the favourites to win the tournament.
